About

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is committed to promoting the health and safety of all students, staff, faculty, and guests, and visitors. Our ability to successfully provide a residential, in-person educational experience depends upon each member of the University community adhering to guidelines. This mobile site and mask detection software, are ways technology can help us have a healthier community.

when.unc.edu allows students to easily search for their schedule and receive the assigned entry and exit door and the suggested time to enter the building. Maps of each building that include the entry numbers are provided on the site.

Students needing an ADA entrance can receive specific information about which entries provide ADA access for each building by sliding the toggle on the top right.
